Two Day Mental Wellbeing Champion Course
Mental Wellbeing Champion Course
Delivered at a training centre or online
The Mental Wellbeing Champion course is a comprehensive two-day training programme designed specifically to support the mental health needs of crew members in the maritime environment.

This course focuses on the core elements of mental health management and crisis intervention, equipping participants with essential skills in engagement, risk assessment, and providing effective follow-up support.

The training introduces an accessible approach to incorporating mental health awareness on board, without the stigma that can sometimes be associated with formal sessions involving mental health professionals. By training selected crew members as Mental Wellbeing Champions, we foster a peer-supported culture that empowers individuals to look out for one another, identify early signs of distress, and take confident and compassionate action when it matters most.

Delivered in a supportive and interactive setting, this course is ideal for anyone looking to promote mental resilience and create a safer, more open onboard environment.
